Not content with merely managing a thriving cosmetic therapy practice, Kelly has actively contributed to the advancement of the field. Serving as the Vice President of the Cosmetic Therapy Association of Ohio, she played a pivotal role in the development and delivery of continuing education courses in laser hair removal and electrolysis. Her depth of knowledge and expertise led her to assume the role of a Cosmetic Therapy exam proctor for The Ohio State Medical Board, further showcasing her commitment to maintaining industry standards and safety protocols.

Kelly’s educational journey laid the foundation for her exceptional career. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, followed by rigorous training and certification in Cosmetic Therapy from the Columbus Medical Electrology and Skin Care Institute. Her pursuit of excellence continued with specialized certification in light-based laser techniques, solidifying her expertise in this cutting-edge facet of cosmetic therapy.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kelly remains actively engaged in ensuring the highest standards of safety and practice within the field. As a legislative liaison to the Ohio State Medical Board, she champions the implementation of protocols that uphold safety measures and ethical standards in Cosmetic Therapy.

Sara Starkey, C.T.

Sara Starkey is both certified by the Ohio State Medical Board as a Cosmetic Therapist and licensed by the Ohio Cosmetology Board as a managing esthetician. Sara has been a licensed esthetician since 2009. Over the years, she has broadened her perspective and approach to skin health. In 2016, Sara expanded her services to include electrolysis and laser hair removal through advanced training by The Medical Electrology and Skin Care Institute.

Sara has integrated more advanced treatments so clients can enjoy a classic relaxing spa experience while receiving dramatic clinical results. Sara specializes in laser hair removal, electrolysis, full body waxing and brow shaping. She strives to deliver thorough, personalized treatments that get results. Her focus and drive is to deliver utmost quality services and products backed by research and professional training.

Marshelle Elsass, C.T.

Marshelle Elsass, is a Cosmetic Therapist certified through the Ohio State Medical Board and a licensed nail specialist through The State of Ohio Cosmetology Board. She graduated from The Ohio Medical Electrology Institute and received her laser certification from the Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser in Kentucky.

Marshelle has been in the nail business since 1991 and is known for her impeccable quality and customer service. She was voted Favorite Manicurist of Oakland County, Michigan and was recognized in 2001 and 2002 in Style Magazine/Fox 2 Detroit. It is Marshelle’s attention to detail that led us to her. Her primary focus is providing our laser and electrology clients with highly detailed and thorough treatments.
